Places to eat in London?

Hi! We're spending a few days at London soon and I'm looking for places to eat with the kids. Not chains but good food and kid friendly. We're staying in kings cross and I'd love a good breakfast place with French toast and pancakes etc. Or just anywhere that you think is different or worth a visit.

Bodeans BBQ for lunch/dinner. Kids eat free before a certain time of day too. Can't help with breakfast though I'm afraid.

Check the reviews on the Bodeans though, one of them has gone really downhill I won't post which one but trip advisor tells you , & i've been myself and its true

The Diner in 18 Ganton Street, Carnaby has amazing American style breakfasts it is a chain but one of the most authentic Ive been to.
