Do you Ebay? Maybe this is of use to you...

I get to visit Florida about every 4 years and collect whatever souvenir baseballs I can whilst out there. At about $6.00 each they are cheap and cheerful and keep me happy. The problem with visits so far apart is that baseballs are released and retired before I get the chance to pick them up, especially the annual releases. Asking friends who go over to pick them up is OK, but if they aren't going to the parks it can feel as though you are imposing on their holiday. The other option is ebay, but for new balls shipped from traders in the USA, the prices are 3 times the park prices plus postage. That's where you come in. For the newer baseballs and especially the annual balls there is interest on ebay from UK buyers. There are some baseballs which are collectable that never seem to appear on Ebay here or in the US, namely any from the Kennedy Space Centre, any from SeaWorld, Busch Gardens and Rain Forest / Hard Rock Cafe and more. Universal have only recently picked up on this line of souvenir (compared to WDW) and have released a flurry of baseballs recently. I'm sure us UK collectors would be happy to pay £ for $ prices (rather than the rip off prices the Americans charge) and so everyone is happy. Have a look for yourself on ebay and turn your $ expenditure into £ in your pocket and help out us UK collectors in the process.

If you have old baseballs rolling around your drawers or stuck in the back of cupboards get in touch, there are a few of us out there willing to give them a good home for a fair price.

Fingers crossed.
Mike.

Thanks Kirstylou. I did ask recently if someone would pick up a 2007 ball for me and they did, but I did feel a bit like I was taking liberties. There is a thread here about "can you get me..." when on holiday so I thought that if people can boost their paypal account a little at the same time everyone is happy.

Superali - can you ask your ds if he has a WDW 2002 annual ball. At the moment I'm not sure if this one exists.

Thanks,

Mike.
