Plaza Gardens fireworks viewing area for HEA?

Where is this area exactly ?
Has anyone seen Happily Ever After from this area ?
I believe it is reserved for Dessert Party Guests only but wondered what the view was like for the projections/fireworks etc?

Just wondering if it was worth booking as I believe the view from the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party (which i always used to book)will not be great for the new show.

Thanks

I follow WDW prep school and Shannon on there totally recommends the plaza garden viewing for the dessert party, rather than the terrace (which is more expensive), as she says it's the perfect place to see the projections and fireworks, as there are not many viewing areas now. If you have a look at her website she has written about it on there. I've now booked the dessert party plaza garden for our trip, as I don't fancy trying to get a spot and hour and a half before.

Thanks for this as I am also wanting to book the Plaza area as last time we visited we had to pitch up what felt like hours beforehand.

Oh that's good and exactly what I wanted to know

I am totally with you on this as having a back problem makes standing for long periods in one spot murder !

Thanks

We booked the dessert party and were walked over to the plaza to view the fireworks in the reserved area. The view was fantastic and it was not crowded so a great experience.

How long before the fireworks do you go down to the viewing area? I have some medical issues and thought it would be easier to stay in the restaurant but it's a lot of money to pay if the view's not up to much!

You can go over to the viewing area at any point in the evening. We checked in for the dessert party at 7.45pm. People started going over probably from about just after 8.00 pm but we didn't go over until 8.40 and there were still people yet to go over. You could go over just before the start if you wanted. As the area was not crowded there was really no rush to go over early.

Thanks for this . How did they eat $59 worth of cake in 15 minutes ? I'm hoping to roll over to the viewing area at 8:55pm
Can you go back after for more desserts or do they clear them during the fireworks ?
