Park hopping

Is getting from one park to another via Disney transport worth doing? Looking on maps and timetables everything is so complicated and time consuming. We are staying off site and our hotel does provide a park shuttle but the times are not great.Would we be better to just plan to do one park each day and work on getting to and from that. We stayed in the middle of I Drive last time and did the other parks never had any problems getting around but Disney looks very complicated.

stick to a park a day if you havnt got a car

getting from magic kingdom to (apart from epcot) another park, would take a fair amount of time on a buses, i think you would have to goto a resort & tx to a bus for the next park*

*never use them as we always have a car & even then stick to one park a day

The only monorail going between parks is the MK/EPCOT loop.

Was thinking if we had been to one of the water parks and they close around 5pm that we could leave at 4ish and head somewhere else rather than just going back to the hotel

Not into park hopping takes too long and too much effort. Disney buses and boats can take a while. Then having to go through security again. We only do it at end trip if we have missed some thing.

This gives you transport times.

We may have been lucky but I've never found it that much of a hassle to go to another park using Disney transportation. It may help that it's just me and DH so no children or pushchairs to worry about but I just see it as another ride!

The Express Transportation is another good option. You have to pay for it but it takes you backstage between the parks so no double queuing to get through security.

We did the 4 Park Challenge last year using every type of Disney Transport, bus, monorail, boat tram. Not a problem at all.
