Mobile Collecting someone from MCO or taxi?

Hi. Our aunt is joining us a few days into our trip. Not sure whether to pick her up from the airport in our hire car or just ask her to get a taxi from the airport. Does anyone have any experience on how difficult pick up might be? Is getting a taxi easy? Not bothered about cost as we'll pay. Just not sure what to do for the best...

It's easy to pick somebody up we do it all the time either wait innthe cell phone parking lot and she can phone you and you can pick, her up out side or park and get transport from the car park and meet her then just return to the car up to an hour it's free

I have done pick ups and drop offs. I just drive into the garage, go up a few levels to get away from the rental car levels, park up and stroll over the bridge into the terminal. When I have collected the person I am meeting I just drive down to the exit barrier and pay. If you are using SunPass you can just drive straight through and its added to your toll bill.

The other option is to wait in the cell phone lot. The person you are collecting rings you and you swoop round and pick them up at kerbside.

We've only done it once last March when we picked our daughter and granddaughter up. We parked in the multi-storey over the car hire garage just like Tom but then got a bit confused as we obviously took the lift down to a much lower level since we got across to the concourse in a tunnel then we had to go up again to the concourse level.

Here's my usual MCO map to help.

orlandoairports/parking-...ation/parking/

We parked on B side as we knew they would arrive on monorail 4 and we just sat in the bit between the main concourse and the monorail and we could see them walking through.

Can't help on taxis though as we've never used one in central Florida.

Thank you but why they've drawn it as north-south on an east-west axis I'm not sure
