Algarve area for villas

We are just back from Praia Da Luz. Lovely little village, between Burghau and Lagos. Plenty golf courses nearby.

Here is the website we have booked with 2 years in a row. We stayed in Villa Linda. Very clean. It's windy in the evenings and can sometimes be a bit cool but it's a welcome cool down from the heat in the day.

We went Kayaking and bottom fishing from Lagos, dolphin watching from a boat on the beach in Luz and the boys went karting several times at a fairly new race track - Autodrome International Algarve (tried to post a link but not working ) They were very impressed with this place.

We also drove to the West coast, half an hour drive (over the hill) to a stunning restaurant Sitio Do Forno and ate Octopus Cataplana, amazing views then parked a mile away and wandered down to the beach at Praia Do Amado where it was full of surfers (you can take lessons).

I haven't been with them but was looking at villa plus for villas . Cant say how they compare in price to affinity villas , unfortunately villa rental is quite expensive in Europe. Villa plus do lots of other areas too apart from Algarve and can tell you if a car is necessary or not.
