Hi
Thinking of trying to ride this, does anyone know if it is a motion sickness ride and can you get a fast pass

It is a simulator but I haven't ridden yet.

As to Fastpass yes you should book one for flights of passage but it won't be easy if you are not onsite. Even if you are book it first at 60 days at 12pm.

It's like Soarin on steroids! Just rode it using a fast pass. It was fantastic and I don't like 3D simulators. The queue at 910am was 180 mins. Get a fastpass if you can!

Yes, you can book a Fastpass for both Flights of Passage and Rivers of Light.
You can book 3 Fastpasses per day, but you may only choose 1 of the Avatar rides per day. Apart from that there are no restrictions in Animal Kingdom. There is a lot of information across various sites (including the DIBB) on Fastpass+ so I would recommend you reading it, especially if you only have 10 days before your window opens.

Tip: Do not try to get Flight of Passage for your first day, book it later into the holiday as you will have more chance of getting one. I would say day 10 or later.

I've read a few reviews and motion sickness seems to be variable. The only ride that makes me ill is Forbidden Journey so I'm expecting to be ok on FoP.

We visited ak yesterday, the ride had a 3 hour wait at 9 when the park opened

We did not have any fp's booked but managed to get fp for later in the day, you just have to keep checking while you are walking around the park.
It is an amazing ride.

It's not as stomach churning as FJ. That does kick you around a lot. FoP is much smoother. Don't want to spoil it but there's just some dips.

Dips I can handle. I'm fine with everything else really. Not sure what it is about FJ but last time I felt awful. We all did actually.
