Go to Typhoon Lagoon instead, they have a beach, waves and some food places, as well as some great rides - and a lazy river - and the sun overhead will be the same one you get at the beach!

Does anyone know a cheap way of getting to Cocoa beach as the cheapest I can see is around $50 per person and didn't know if anyone else had visited Cocoa without a car and had any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!
You can do it quite easy with out a car but you need to spend A night in clear water

Have A look at this useing grayhound Bus you can go to Tampa

Hmm I don't want to take too much time/money away from the trip. I think we'll have to give it a miss !

During our 14 week stays each year we visit Jetty park (just up the coast from Cocoa) at least 8 times and have done so for the past few years and we see at least a dozen dolphins and 6-8 manatee every day we go

Sounds like you have never been to the Cocoa area

Having done both coasts I def prefer the gulf coast, warmer water, nicer sand.

You can do a day tip to clearwater beach, one of the attraction places sells tickets, they will bus you over and back in a day, sorry not sure about the cost but I know a lot of people do it. It's worth it if you fancy a beach day and will save you worrying about how to get there!

Xx
