Taxi MCO
Just a quickie,
I'm thinking about not booking a transfer from MCO, first time landing at this airport. My question is this.. does anyone just jump in a cab, is there plenty of them? |

Mears is the company used at MCO. There's plenty of them about if you don't want to prebook but if you do decide to prebook online use the code WEB10 and you get a 10% discount.
I think you can user Uber Black from there too now but when I tried to get a quote there was very little in it price wise so went with Mears. |

We elected not to pre-book as online prices were coming in at $60-70 for MCO to RPR, turned up at airport, down to transportation and jumped in a cab that was waiting. It wasn't a Mears cab, and when it's busy there is a taxi marshall calling cabs over.
Our metered fare was $46, obviously had to add a tip to that! |

We just picked up a cab from the rank outside the airport - going to Hampton Inn ( just behind Pointe Orlando) cost $42 on the meter, plus tip

Was just about to ask this question myself, so thank you everyone who has answered!
We're not hiring a car next month as no need so was thinking of just getting a cab from the airport to RPR. We'll then need another cab ride from RPR to Boardwalk Inn, then it'll be Disney cruise transfer buses from then on.
