Tenby restaurant/cafe recommendations

We are spending a few days in Tenby next week, does anyone have any recommendations of where to eat?
We enjoy most foods but not into fine dining.
Thanks in Advance.

There are lots of cafes, restaurants and pubs which also serve food. The town can get quite busy so it depends what time of day you want to eat and whether you want a walk on or book. It might be an idea just to walk around on your first day to see what takes your fancy - it’s not a big town but has lots of eateries!

My nephew works in the Fat Seagul which looks good and has some good reviews!

When we were there in November we just had a coffee and a very large custard slice in one of the many cafes.

There’s Fecci’s for fish and chips, some curry houses … bit of everything really.

There are a couple of Dibbers from that area who will hopefully be along soon to give some more suggestions.

Where are you staying? If you’ve got the chance to drive round the coast there are some nice beach restaurants such as the Wisemans Bridge Inn

Is the Plantagenet still there? We always used to have amazing food there when we stayed at our friend’s holiday home.

No recommendations but saw this on Facebook tonight and thought how lovely it was and wanted to share. Not been to Tenby in years. Have a great time!

Thank you for your response, we are staying just a few minutes walk from the centre, I took a look at the Fat Seagull, it appeared to be a limited menu, but once there like you said we can have a walk around and see the menus on display, I have spotted some places that look quite good, I'm hoping someone might know of some hidden gems 😊

Thank you for your response, on the website it states that restaurant has closed but on further investigation it appears it might be under new management, another one we can check out once we are there 😊

I have never been but have heard it's a lovely quirky little town, thank you for posting, I'm looking forward to seeing it, especially if the weather is kind to us 😊

I hope it reopens as it’s such good food and the restaurant is so unique.
Hope you have a great stay.
