Golf - appropriate attire?

We are staying for two weeks at a villa at Providence Golf Resort.

DS16 fancies having a round of golf. I’ve been on the website and it seems that this should not be a problem but says proper golf attire should be worn. What would this entail?

Thanks

Excellent. Thank you.
DS16 has a collared polo shirt. I’ll get him some dress shorts.👍🏻

My dh won’t wear shorts, ever, so he golfs in chinos and a polo shirt. If it’s cold he wears a hoodie. Not once has this been challenged.

Very relaxed there. I went last just before covid and played on that course a couple of times. Shorts and polo or standard golf top. I had my gold shoes for one day and then played in standard trainers as I forgot them in the car.
