Do you have to request this lounge at Heathrow Terminal 3.

I have already spoken to the assistance team and they have sorted priority boarding and seats for us already but they didn't mention this lodge at all?

I’m not flying from Gatwick til tomorrow so if anything is different I’ll edit this but looking at YouTube vids it appears at each entry point to the North terminal (presume South is the same ) there are special assistance points with a button to press and they either come and get you from there or direct you to their desk . They will be expecting you as you’ve already registered as needing special assistance with BA so they will have passed this on.
Once they’ve taken you through security you are taken to the lounge (Ive just googled and noticed With Wetherspoons you can order on their app and they deliver to the lounge , so that’s breakfast sorted tomorrow) .
I believe some branches of Boots have sunflower lanyard for sale too.

Never assume that BA will pass on information to the company who operates the SA at Heathrow ( and vice versa) but it will be noted in your booking at least. It used to be G4S who organised the SA at Heathrow pre-covid but not sure what the situation is now so make sure you have a plan in case something goes wrong. Hopefully it won't but being prepared will help if it does even if it just involves talking to a BA staff member to ask for assistance to get help.
