Oogie Boogie Bash and Park Reservations

Hi

We will be at DL California for the very first time for a week from 22nd Oct 2022 as we want to experience Halloween there. We've booked the holiday and hotel but not our park reservations yet as we're waiting for the tickets to go on sale for Oogie Boogie Bash which, I believe is 13th July, so then we can properly plan out itinary for the week. We also want to experience Horror Nights at Universal and Scaryfest at Knotts Berry Farm. For this reason, we have to make sure that we carefully plan out our days and evenings. My question is, can we leave it until the tickets go on sale for Oogie Boogie Bash on 13th July before making our park reservations or will this be risking the parks being booked up?
