Hard Rock Hotel - work being done **UPDATES**

Thanks for the updates! We were worried when we booked as it was pretty obvious there was a huge discount due to on going works but we’re not going until September (which was advertised as the last month of renovations) so I’m hoping we’re well in the clear. Never stayed at HRR before, so really excited!

We’ve stayed in Cabana Bay, The Aventura and The Royal Pacific and they’ve all been great! No complaints at all.

Are there any recent updates? Are we scaffold free yet?

Arrived today. Still some scaffolding in the back and roof tiles off on one side at the front.
Through the trees you can see scaffolding at the side where the Kitchen is but it is only first floor level until you get to the far left side

Is the access to walk to the parks using the pool gate now open?

We stayed from 24-27th May and had a nightmare on our last night. We were on the 7th floor club level room and at 2am workmen were hammering and sawing above our room. It took 2 phone calls and 2 visits to reception to stop and DH wasn’t the only one going down to complain! They have offered to refund our last nights stay but as we booked with travel republic it goes to them and we have to wait and hope they pass it onto us!

Crickey! That sounds horrendous! When would anyone think its acceptable to be carrying out any non-emergency buildingw work at 2am in the morning? Does that suggest they are behind schedule?

oh no.. we are booked to stay on club floor too.. I hope this doesn't happen when we arrive.. if I don't get my beauty sleep. I get very very cranky.. and it aint beauty at all ..
