Gatwick hotel prices
Has anyone noticed if hotel prices get more or less expensive the nearer you get to the date?
I booked a room at the Bloc at Gatwick for our recent trip and the price was £75. I am now looking for a room for September and the price is double. I’m not sure if prices in general have just got more expensive, or if I should wait a bit before booking. |

In my experience, they get more expensive. Early bird offers are to get cash in early.
There's always the chance they go down right before if they have last minute availability. |

I think it can go either way, but more likely to become more expensive as it gets closer.

From experience they generally go up, we paid £66 for a flex booking at premier inn Gatwick for early aug. It is now £107. They could drop I suppose depending on demand, but I would book now with fre cancellation if possible and can always cancel and rebook if the price drops.
