ArriveCAN app problem

Hi 👋
My parents are struggling with the app needed for Canada , they are telling me they aren’t getting a verification code .
I haven’t seen or completed the app , should it be a code to their phone or an email ?
We are all confused and it seems without verification they can’t continue with the process x
Any help or suggestions really welcomed xx

I haven't filled one in but have looked into it for our trip. I believe, once completed, it gives you a receipt code once completed. You can do this via app or online but only 72 hours or less in advance of the flight.

There was an update to the app on 15th May so if they downloaded if before then it might be worth updating it/reinstalling it.

Thanks , they did that and got so far but then logged in to their account on the computer and that then worked and gave them the receipt they needed x
Then back into the updated app and that then worked , so they have a paper print out and a qr code on their mobile 😅
I really appreciate your help x
