Universal's Attraction Assistance Pass

What are peoples experiences of the Universal's Attraction Assistance Pass?
I’ve sorted Disney but one of our party is registered partially sighted and has no peripheral vision. She finds some of the queue lines in Universe very difficult due to how dark some of them are ie The Mummy.
On the last holiday she found it really quite stressful and she’s worried about this year’s holiday as her vision has gotten worse.

Visit guest relations and tell them what you've told us. I'm sure you will get an AAP for your party - this lets you request a return time for the rides and use the express/alternate entrance.

Do you, on the off chance, know if you can apply in advance of your trip for the AAP or is it only in person on the day.

Thanks in advance

AFAIK it's in person only and the person applying has to have the tickets for everyone in their party too for them to scan.

You need to apply on the day for a pass to last up to two weeks. I hate to tell you but the pass will not let her avoid the dark walk in Mummy. Pushing my daughter's wheelchair through the express line is still a definite challenge and my vision is fine.

Has the Mummy reopened yet? It’s possible that part of the refurb could have involved a more accessible queue

Think there was some rumour that it will open in early June.
