Maybe large crowds in the Studios might mean it's quieter than usual in the main park?

Definitely could be! Although possibly evenings and Illuminations could be busier as the Studios close earlier (8pm).

I arrive Mon 18th and I'm still unsure about how I feel lol. I wasn't bothered about it to be honest but looking at the pictures has got me just a little bit excited.

I was always expecting it to be busy even without Avengers Campus as the French will be on hols. Also, we've been to Florida late July / early August twice which, with a bit of careful planning, was fine.

I'm thinking I'll do the parade and illuminations on the Monday or Tuesday. I'll need to think of an EMH strategy too

For EMH, if you want Big Thunder, go there first. If Fantasyland is a priority, do Peter Pan first. Otherwise, go to Discoveryland and do Buzz first. They get the biggest queues.

Not everything is open at EMT - check the app. Usually it’s Big Thunder, Peter Pan, Dumbo, Teacups, Carousel, Buzz, Autopia, Orbitron and Space Mountain.

I think I wish it wasn’t opening when I’m there. I’m thinking of just a day at start of Aug as part of a 4 day break to Paris but now unsure if it’s wise to go or not. It would just be the 1 park as we weren’t going to the studios.
Do you think it will be heaving? Like horrible heaving!

We're going end of June to and feel the same. I was quite excited at the prospect of it being open as my little boy is a huge marvel fan so he would have been so excited but I can't even imagine how insanely busy it will be when it first opens seeing how busy its been already this year
