I like Anchor spreadable but I’ve found Lidl ‘British Spreadable’ is exactly the same.
I also would never touch margarine. I’m not sure if it’s true or not but I read it’s one of the rare things that cockroaches will not eat.

Clover or Flora Buttery in this house ! I do love ‘proper’ butter though like Anchor - but it’s soooo expensive ! 😂😂

Oh no ... sounds like I'm slumming it . I buy Cant believe its not butter. Maybe its time for a change .To be a true Dibber looks like I will have to start buying Lurpak .

DH has the Aldi version of the Lurpack spread.
I rarely eat butter or spread

Lurpak all day long,block not spread,I can't stand the spreadable ones,might as well just use Marg😳
The taste test speaks volumes for me,my Grandkids are used to having Lurpak spreadable at home,but they love having breakfast here with "real" butter on their toast 😁 Edited at 10:49 AM. |

if you leave butter out of the fridge it will be swamped by flies...
If you leave margarine out of the fridge..none! What does that tell you! |
