£1m now or £10k/month for 10 years?
Inspired by the ever-youthful Andi Peters on This Morning this morning, would you choose to take:
- A cool £1 million now as a lump sum, or - £10,000 a month, every month, for the next ten years? (Does anyone have details on Andi's skincare regimen?) |

Who is to say what tomorrow may bring ……. I’d take the million now , the ten thousand a month will be worth less with inflation anyway.
I think Andi has a mirror in his attic. |

I’d take it all now a give the kids £100.000 each leaving £600,000 which at our age would be more than enough for us to be extremely comfortable for the rest of our lives.

I think 10k a month over 10 years as I’m quite good at deferred gratification. 😂 and the thought of the extra 200k is very appealing. (20% on top is brill and 10 years goes so quick!)
Andi said this morning that he wears a lot of makeup when he’s on the telly so maybe it’s that which makes look young. But I did see him in Benihana in London maybe 15 years ago and he looks the same now! Kat

£1m now, you never know what’s round the corner! It would also buy me a few things from my wish list including a few appointments with Andi’s plastic surgeon

It’s tax free.
I think the age of the recipient would have an influence over the decision. At 45 the 1.2 million would suit me but if I was say 65 I’d take it all now. Kat

When you're both 75 one has to be a little pragmatic on this.
I'll take the million now please. Mick
