Are there any plans for it to finish 🤔. I hope not as we are there the end of June.

It is ‘seasonal’ so no idea how long it will tun, but I would be surprised if it wasn’t running over the summer.

I'm in two minds about paying for advance booking, for both this and Mickey and the Magician.
On the one hand... youngest won't be a huge fan of queuing. On the other, for three of us and both shows, that's nearly €100 for an optional extra to an already expensive holiday - and you still need to stand and wait half an hour! Plus I'm not sure I want to be bound to a particular time slot this far in advance. 🤔 |

I seriously wouldn’t bother. Never queued long for MatM. And if you get to RotP and the queue is too long you could always buy the passes then.
Worth trying for the free Mastercard seats if you have one.

Thanks Gill, that's reassuring. I do have a Mastercard actually so might give that a go too!

I think I’m gonna just pay in advance for both. Just watched a vlog where the Que for Lion King was miles long.
Also, I’m not sure it’s gonna be on past May 29 th, which is our first full day, as it’s still not showing. Gonna give it a few more days to see if it comes on. We have dinner with the Princesses that evening and also have to change hotels from Sequia Lodge to Art of Marvel , all with a four year old! So a busy day , and not wanting to take any chances of missing Lion King. So currently am inclined to book the 1 pm show on 29 th as it might be our only chance of seeing it. I know it’s extra expense but hey ho it’s worth it to me to guarantee seeing it with my grandaughter! |

We went in December and both my 3 & 7 year old enjoyed the Lion King show. The big one was transfixed, the little one wouldn’t have sat much longer but still very much enjoyed it. We didn’t pay for it and got in no problem: but we took the view that we’d try one day/one session and if we needed to, pay another day.

We went a few months ago, and expected a long wait but we arrived just as they opened the doors (the line had started to go down as people were going in) and we got seats very easily as it's a huge theatre.
We had decided to try on our first day, and book for later in the trip if we had a problem getting in. They've removed the big posts that used to block the view from some seats too.

We are there at half term though, and if we only have one chance of seeing the show ( ie it’s not on any other day) I’m gonna book it. If it was just me and DH I wouldn’t bother and just stand in the Que.

I wouldn't pay for it personally, £100 for a 30min queue instead of maybe a 40min queue just wouldn't be worth it for me.
That said, we probably pay for stuff that other people wouldn't bother with 🤷🏻 |
