We did an overnight stay on our recent trip as there was a manned rocket launch at 4am. We stayed in the motel 6 for a good price basic but just what we needed. I was too excited to sleep much so we went to the beach very early and sat in the car (my hubby was having problems with his knees it was easily walkable) great to see the launch not very much noise really but we watched the rocket until it was like a little star. Nice place for a visit, quite long and there is a bus that does a round trip if you want to explore Cocoa beach area.

We preferred Cocoa Village to Cocoa Beach! Some quirky shops and a number of places to get something to eat and drink.

Glad to find this, we are doing two nights pre-cruise in January. I know it won't be beach weather but looking forward to exploring Cocoa beach and village. We never get time to add it to an Orlando holiday
