Parking and hotels Gatwick

We’re flying from the North Terminal at Gatwick and seems so long since we last flew anywhere, I’m over thinking things! We have a very early flight so want to stay as close to airport as possible, Hilton for four of us is same price as two rooms at premier inn but just seeking reassurance that there are no issues getting from there to the North terminal in the morning on the shuttle? Also looking at parking onsite in the Gatwick long stay parking. Anyone have any observations? It doesn’t seem that much more than doing APH/purple parking and means a slightly quicker getaway when we come home. We have a van but doesn’t look like that causes issues anywhere unless someone can tell me different? Thanks

You can walk from the premier inn, its quite an easy walk tbh
Espeically if youre able to do twilight check in so you dont have to worry about suitcases.

I have parked in Gatwick's actual carpark and had no issues at all! My brother in law has a van and managed to park his fine at the airport

Thank you. Two rooms at premier inn came to £20 more than Hilton so decided to just go for that as has free cancellation until day before, but now booked parking so thanks for reassurance

Either of these hotels are perfect for an overnight stay before a flight and if you need to use the shuttle it’s just a short ride away from either terminal. We always use the Gatwick long stay car park north or south are both easy to get to, we have a pick up but have seen vans in the car park.
