Staying at a hotel at Terminal 4 Heathrow while it is closed

In June we go to USA from terminal 3 at Heathrow and I have currently got a room booked at terminal 4 Premier inn not realising the tube and trainstations were closed. Any one know if I am better moving, we will get to Heathrow by train so I am no sure what my best options are.

Check to see what local buses serve the hotel to/from T3.

According to the Premier Inn website the hotel has a transfer bus.

I came here to write this. We stayed there two weeks ago and can’t fault it.

I suspect the difference in cost between a Premier Inn and the Hilton Garden Inn might be quite a lot, certainly at short notice.

I'd just get an Uber - it's not very far away. £10-15 I'd imagine at most times of the day.

Yeah it deffo depends . The Hilton was cheaper than the premier inn when we booked 😂 (only by £5 but still!)

There's still a bus running, I called the hotel to check a couple of days ago as had the same worry. The terminal 4 PI was half the price of terminal 3, I guess for this reason, but if a bus runs I'm happy with that!

That is good to know, do you go soon? I tried to contact the hotel but not been able to get through.

I have this dilemma for July, but I have read that T5 opens early July. Hopefully the buses are running, it makes sense as they plan to open it up again soon?

We've stayed in various Heathrow hotels, many (possibly all) have been served by the Hoppa bus thing and we've never used it.

It doesn't strike me as a particularly nice way to start travel day - standing outside waiting for a bus to turn up, hope you get on, have to lug your cases about etc.

Not only that, but if you are a family of four it will almost certainly be cheaper to just call an Uber.

TL'DR - I don't think the availability of a bus, or otherwise, shouldn't influence your choice of hotel.
