Booking restaurants.

For anyone who’s been or going soon. Are the restaurants just random on the app? I’ve still 4 months to go until our September trip so didn’t think I could book until 2 months out. I only want 2 restaurants & they’re booked out already? Plaza gardens breakfast with characters & downtown. Not worried about downtown as I’m staying at the hotel so hoping I’ll get in this way. Most other restaurants are available for my dates, Walt’s Remy etc

Some dates in September have lines through them but all my dates don’t but still no availability at the 2 restaurants I want? 🫤

We’ll be there from 11th-14th

Hi! For Plaza Gardens we had to phone up to book (and we did it more than 60 days out). If you have a look through the DLP Trip Planning forum there’s a thread about it including the number to call (different to the dining reservation one).
When we phoned up to book it was added to our invoice as an extra cost (showing the time and date too). That was for dinner, but presumably breakfast would work the same? It was all a bit frustrating as I only found out what to do through here - everything else just implied it would show up on the app.

For other restaurants our dates became bookable earlier than 60 days - with dates either side crossed out - and downtown was included.

Yeah, I’m at 114 days to go so definitely thought I was early! My dates are available on the app for every other restaurant bar these 2 so thought I was just a bit early!
