Universal hotel needed?

Hi we are going next may ( never been in may ) staying at a hotel to get the passes were great in october. When we went in september they were a waste as all rides were walk ons.
Do you think they are needed in may? We wont go memorial weekend as i know how busy it will be.

Tbh, i think if you can do it then do it. It is SO unpredictable when it comes to ride times.
i have been in May and it is alot busier than Sept/Oct time

May is busier then October? I was told it was ok except for memorial weekend:-( im worried now ha x

My friends are there just now, didn�t book a hotel and said that the longest they have queued for anything was just under an hour. Think that was Hagrids, everything else was shorter.

Just got back last week and Universal was manageable crowd wise and waiting times.

I didn�t have express and utilised single rider where possible. Most were manageable waits 20/30 mins. Velocicoaster was 40-60 mins at times and didn�t make it on Hagrids but saw the wait on the app between 50-70 mins

I was there 3 years ago in May and the queues were manageable . We didn�t queue any more than 40 mins but booked RPR for one night . We were staying in Adventura . We are going next week and it�s memorial weekend . Have no choice it�s only time we could go . This time at Cabana but again have booked RPR for one night as we know it will be busy .
