We are staying here in July I have checked in as far as possible on line and would normally request a high room anyway but there was nowhere to request this on the page it gave a couple of drop downs - near bus stop was one - which I also requested.
I’m glad everyone is pleased with the resort .

We are staying here in June and my son just mentioned how big the resort is. My husband has a dodgy knee that can flair up anytime so we would like to be as close to the amenities as possible. Where would be best ye stay and can we request a certain area?

No sure if you can request but we are Casitas and it’s perfect for bus and main building. We got lucky

You can try putting in a detailed request via the chat on MDE. You aren’t guaranteed anything but have read that they do try to accommodate guest requests as much as possible.

I think Casitas would be best to request for your needs if you have a standard room booked. If you have a preferred room booked you will be in Casitas 1,2 or 3 anyway.

Even when you do check in and are allocated a different building, you can always ask at that point too.

We requested top floor, quiet room. Have been given one with a communicating door and room above us looking out on a pool (we did not book water view). Not v quiet! Unable to move on same day and tbh pretty disinterested customer service despite us being very polite and British about not wanting to be a bother.

However it is a beautiful resort and if you're fitish the distance across the site is not a bother (apart from wanting to fill up your resort mug) and we're in Ranchos. Bus service has been good leaving resort too despite using last stop.

Just a warning which I think is affecting all of Disney. We had a very long day at Epcot today and cancelled the boathouse as exhausted. Thought we could walk up to the numerous restaurants they have here. 2 of the best ones are closed. The other is hired for a private function. Last chance saloon was the restaurant at the 3 bridges so managed to squeeze a late booking. 45 min wait. Had a drink and mooched over after an hour as no notification. they said no idea how long as people not leaving. Absolutely pathetic. Maximum price for 50% service!

Thanks for the replies. I’ve requested a room near the amenities through the app chat. Fingers crossed.

We love CSR. It was our first visit in 2019 and we can’t wait to return. 🥰 The Tower really gives it a deluxe feel, doesn’t it?

We never had problems with noise and we were on the ground floor in Casitas 5.

I don’t know why people complain about the size of it. With the bridge across the lake, everything is much more accessible now 😀

We vlogged while walking from just outside of the El Mercado to the path by Ranchos 6B, the whole way in one take... The vlog was 5 and half minutes long because we used the bridge. Didn't think it was too bad. Caribbean Beach Resort seemed much bigger to us.
