Oh It really must be good! We've been 3 times Florida now & we love it! But with the prices so high for Disney this year we would prefer to put that money into a different sort of holiday! We'll still do a few days at Disney & just the one probably for universal so the kids will be happy! But they're looking forward to SF, the PCH & the stop offs in Monterey, SC & SB. We have a friend in SD so we might be there a couple of days & then end with LV & the GC! Now to put a proper plan into action! Enjoy Vegas & thanks for the tips!

We're currently planning on flying into and out of LA, 2 nights at universal, 3 at Disney, a week in Hawaii, and a few nights in San Diego, also a stop somewhere for a couple of nights at the beach, not sure which yet. Will sit down and try to work out which order to do things and number of nights nearer the time of booking anything.

Will be having a good read of all the west coast trip reports out there to get some ideas.

It really will be that trip of a lifetime for us. I look forward to your tips once we get a plan into action! Hopefully we'll have the flights sorted in the next few weeks, nervous about doing it all diy but I know we'll probably be restricted if booked with a TA.

This year, we are (currently! ) flying into LA with 6 nights in Marina deal Rey, driving to Vegas for 5 nights (and fitting in a visit to the Grand Canyon) before flying up to San Francisco for 4 nights and a direct flight back to MAN on the new VA service.

Wow! Sounds amazing! Can't wait to see the GC!

Think we'll start in SF, Monterey. SB, LA (Disney & universal) hopefully SD then Vegas & GC.
Me & hubby will hopefully get back on our own in a few yrs so we can see Yosemite Joshua tree etc

We are trying to keep FL fresh by doing Cali this yr.

With the research I've done for this trip I can already foresee future trips as we are barely scratching the surface of the west coast over 2 weeks.
