I too thought it was something to do with the taxi driver ... especially as she'd ordered a cab for forty mins time .

With it being such a delicate subject and with so many women reluctant to come forward after such crimes, I just can't imagine ITV taking a back lash risk by making the woman the liar, if you know what I mean.

Also, when the police went to her flat to speak to her they asked her why she didn't move or try to get away when he went into the bathroom for the condom, she said she didn't know , she shrugged and said she was probably in shock , why would she be in shock at that point ? she knew he was going to the bathroom for the condom so at that point she was intending to have sex with him .
Those who are saying surely ITV would not show the programme and make him to be the innocent one , why not ? yes it's a delicate subject but the reality is that it isn't always the woman who is the victim . also there is a lot going on in the background that we don't yet know about , when did the taxi driver turn up ? are we going to find that the accused didn't actually wait for the taxi and started walking home , the twist could be that both of them believe they are telling the truth until the story unfolds .

It wasn't very gripping but I'll stick with it for now. I'm wondering if she has some mental health problem which makes her black out and when she woke in the morning she just assumed she'd been raped

Then again, it could highlight how men are falsely accused and their lives ruined.
