Memorial Day-what would you plan to do
So, DD and I are heading out for a last minute 8 day trip and will be there for Memorial day, and indeed the weekend before it.
Our options for Memorial Day are shooping to the Florida Mall or one of the outlets, or a Disney park. Dont want to do a water park, and need to make the most of every minute we are there! What would you plan to do? Or what are you planning to do? Does anyone have experience of how extra busy the parks are? Thanks for thoughts and advice!

We are going to MK! I've been there for Memorial Weekend in 2015 and 2017 and honestly didn't find it that bad. Providing you get up early and go in the morning, it will be fine. Don't miss out on a park day if you need to fit them in over your 8 days. We are probably having a water park day on the Saturday but fully intend to visit the parks on Sunday and Monday this year.

My birthday fell on Memorial Day last year and we spent the morning in MK, chilled at the pool/took the children back to the hotel for lunch time and went back in the evening until it closed.
We got so much done! I had a brilliant time. Just made sure we had the fast passes we wanted. |

We are also there this year and were in 2015 and 2017, we spend the actual day in Busch Gardens, but the weekend we do a waterpark and a Disney park.
I personally wouldn't not go to a park as that's what we are there for, and I didn't find the parks overly busy either. Go for it, go to a park, and if you find it start to get too busy for you, leave and go shopping, then at least you haven't missed out |

we did both MK(am) & ak(pm) on memorial day and both were fine and it was no where as busy as I'd expected it to be.
shops, beaches and waterparks seem to be the busiest places as people avoid the parks thinking they will be packed. As your only going for a week I def wouldn't avoid the parks |

We used to always go over memorial weekend and found the shopping malls and outlets to be manic and the water parks are really busy too. So we continued our plans in the parks, with FP etc it’s fine 👍🏻
