I've crossed a couple of things off my list now. We've decided to stay in a b&b in San Diego rather than impose of my brother. Even though I know he wouldn't mind his place just isn't big enough. Also got some dollars to take. Tried to do API today but the Virgin Atlantic website is playing up.

Hotel Vyvant. It's on Aims recommended list and gets great reviews on Tripadvisor. Only downside is that it's right by the ramp to the freeway so I'm prepared for the fact there could be traffic noise. Apart from that it looks lovely and the suite there suits our needs as three adults including our daughter

Edited to say that Aims has it listed as Little Italy hotel, but it's since charged its name to Hotel Vyvant

It's walkable to Balboa Park and to the harbour.

I've done the Estas and we've settled a couple of itinerary issues. My plan is to spend the whole of tomorrow sorting out everything else. That was my plan last week but as you can see I haven't gotten very far.

Well, booked our Southern California Citypasses tonight, so now just have to:

Book internal flights
Book hire car
Decide which San Fancisco tour to book
San Diego zoo tickets
ESTA's
API's

And probably a load of other things I have forgotten!
