Holy moley. That's the couple of minutes directly after the "opening scene"

That means that particular character isn't lucilled (was there any doubt though?). Won't say who in case you don't want to click on the teaser trailer link.

The axe though - the bloomin' axe! Anyone who knows a little about the comics (I don't but I did know this) may start having theories about that axe and what's going to happen next.

Unfortunately, I caught who dies purely by accident - godamm you twitter - but I am still looking forward immensly to that first episode. It's going to be so intense

I started watching season 1 and just fell away from it. Wasn't that I didn't like it. Is it worth giving it another go. Season 1-6 are on Sky Boxsets, probably wouldn't catch up before the new season. Also how gruesome does it get. Was thinking about downloading some for the plane and watch on the laptop. Would it upset kids around me?

Well I'm biased but can see why you fell away from it. Season 2 on the farm was pretty dull. Since then I feel it's just been getting better and better. Plenty of weak episodes in each season but some spectacular television as well.

Upset kids - probably. It has been getting pretty gruesome and bleak in the latter seasons.

Just watched that trailer again and 2 things. The actor playing Negan is brilliant - so menacing without being a panto baddie. And without going into detail - the condition of "the character's" face who's talking to Negan gives a definite clue to who got Lucilled. So don't watch if you want to be kept completely in the dark.

Pretty vague but trying not to give spoilers.

Negan is fab, isn't he.

On the face, I didn't know if Negan may have dragged Lucille on it after the deed. Looked a bit too neat. I've avoided spoilers, I've got in mind who it may be though.

Regarding the axe, I've read the comics.😱

Really looking forward to the new season starting.

Oh no the axe, I was really hoping that scene wouldn't happen I hope it's not as bad as most of are thinking. Felt extremely sad for that character as they were being dragged to the van...
