Me too I'm also thinking that the solider who was pregnant maybe she was in it with her dad as the captured girl said she had a baby that died I'm thinking maybe the plan was for the dad to give the baby to his daughter to pass of as her own ? 😀 Roll on next week

Ok so Alice is actually Sophie.
I can't see a reason for Sophie to escape, pretend to be Alice for a few days and then kill herself. So my crazy theory (which will obviously be nowhere near correct) is that Sophie - perhaps with her abductors - placed actual Alice's (already dead) body in the shed and burned that. Therefore any subsequent DNA test would show it to be Alice. Then Sophie would be free to go and do whatever. Only flaw with this theory is I can't think of a reason to do that either...

I don't think Sophie wanted to go home because of her dad ... he's not very nice. If Alice spoke about her family, which at the time, seemed very nice, I think Sophie wanted to try living Alice's life ... I don't think she reckoned on getting caught out so quickly though.
It's fun thinking about solving it, isn't it? Love reading everyone's ideas.

I think the dead army chap who supposedly shot himself was going to uncover a peado ring which involved the brigadier and the butchers wife. So I think they had him killed to silence him, his son found out the truth that's why he went awol.
