We have the works Christmas do next week, due to the boss not booking anywhere up in time last year! So we have a lovely Chinese meal to look forward to, in a posh restaurant in Chelmsford. All paid for by my kind boss. Just been looking in my wardrobe for something to wear! 😞 My new year diet can't start until after the meal!

Wishing I was back in Florida in the warm weather. I've only been home two weeks and it seems like a lifetime ago. Luckily we escaped the snow here and it's not that cold either at the moment. Glad the nights are drawing out a bit as i hate going to work and coming home in the dark. Roll on spring.

Think we all agree spring onwards is better. Once March comes I feel much happier, roll on!

Not too bad cos put in 2 weeks holiday and have just had a week so far, added to which with my shift pattern I'm back in for 3 evenings and off for another 6 days taking me till the beginning of February. I have had holidays in January for the past few years and it suits me well, we are paid monthly so no 5 week months thankfully, plus have a little inheritance coming soon so that will sort out a few bills and sort the house out with some bits and bobs that need sorting, so that's something to look forward to.
I generally find February a depressing month apart from Valentine's Day, am always glad to see March...

We are getting ready to move house a week on Friday (fingers crossed) so our weekends will be busy unpacking and decorating for ages and by then it will be spring!

I'm not a fan of January/February either. I'm wishing them away as we are off to Lisbon on march 1st.
I bought a car yesterday though, to help get me though my test quicker, so hopefully that will make January/February pass a bit quicker!

We're not doing too bad so far. Won the lottery twice, only small amounts but every little helps😂
January is a happy month for us, 4 family birthdays, and 2 friends also have birthdays.

Looking forward to February as well. I've got a week off, and our Son is 18.🍾🎉

January seems to be flying by my work secondment ends 6th Feb and the last four months have gone so fast.

Ive gone mad on decluttering in the last few weeks, sold a load of clothes on Ebay in December.

Gave away a sofa to a young pregnant girl last week to help her out and have sorted out the loft, kitchen cupboards, garage and spare room, whilst DH has done his tax returns and cleared his office out.

I'm loving my clean tidy house at the moment and I managed to book a quick break in the Canaries for May.
