If staying on POFQ we usually unpack then get the boat from POFQ to Disney Spring and use a counter service meal somewhere, Then back for an early night ready for our early start the next morning

we head to villa unpack , go to cracker barrell, then go to walmart, head back , jump in pool, pjs on , eat some lovely junkie things, sleep. thats if we get in orlando by 5ish if not we skip pool, nothing better than getting into bed on that first night knowing you have all your holiday in front of you.

We head to the hotel, unpack, go for a swim, out for a late tea, then back to the hotel to go to bed, as we will be awake at 5am on the first morning and be at a park for rope drop.

We have never arrived that early, but we get some supplies from Walmart, have a light bite to eat and maybe a glass of wine and then bed. We arrived really late last year and just fell straight in to bed at 1am. It was awful, I hardly slept at all and felt worse on the first day than I ever do. I have seen in some trippies that people try and stay up late to counter the jet lag, but it didn't work for us. I like to go to sleep about 9-9.30pm and then when I am awake at 4 or 5 am at least I have had quite a few hours sleep. I'd say see how you feel and go from there.

We will be arriving the same time this year - which is the earliest we have ever arrived. Previously we normally get to the room, find some food and sleep.

This year I am hoping we are not too tired and can also unpack that night as well.

Our plan is to check in, head out for some pizza and then back to our room because our 4 and 6 yr old will most likely be shattered
