Heard lots about this shop and had a look on website, omg the candles sound amazing, how do you bring them home without being damaged?

We take a roll of cling film and sellotape with us just for this purpose

We wrapped ours within our clothing and within our cool bags surrounded by the various shower gels

We put them in hand luggage...

I always bring at least 5 large jar Yankee candles home and I ask them to put travel lids on instead of the glass ones to save weight, then they go with other breakables in my hand luggage. Last month they swabbed them but never had any problems or breakages.

If you are going to Bath and Body Works make sure you look out for the foaming hand wash. It's lush!

When they bring the candels out to the shelves they have cardboard trays (bit like the ones you get at McDonalds drive through for cups) - ask for one of these and then I usually cut them up and put one on top and bottom and then wrap in clothes and put in the middle of suitcase.

Get talking to the people behind the counter or on the sales floor - they usually love a British accent and will give you tonnes of ribbons, wrapping bags etc. etc. and any discounts they have behind the till.

I always end up buying bubble wrap and cheap 'sellotape' in Walmart's to wrap candles and other delicate things I always vow not to buy !

I take a plastic Tupperware type box from home for small delicates such as Christmas baubles.

Bought 12 candles home in hand luggage last year - just wrapped then in towels and t shirts. Dont wrap them too well if they are in your hand luggage as you have to take them all out for them to swab.
