Annual travel insurance

Hello

We have annual travel insurance which runs out tomorrow.
They have offered me a renewal as a continuous
I rang and asked them if it covered the COVID and was told no (sort of expected that) as that would have been an add on (even though bought high rated insurance).
I have booked the cruise and paid for DVC points for Aulani through a private individual. Going September (was going to
book flights then it all started to kick off)
I am assuming if the cruise is cancelled then I will get refund or future credit (can I think transfer before PIF to later date and lose money per person to change)
I am assuming even if Aulani is still not open in September there is no way for a claim?
My question is can you see any reason why I should renew at the moment that I am missing?
If they do not cover COVID and I cannot claim for that is there any other way through the insurance I can claim if aulani is still shut. Also would they cover dvc points via private person (anyone in the past claimed)

Did you specifically ask if it covered existing bookings or did you just ask generally?
