Such a different experience for you this time taking Charlie but an extra special first day. So many magical memories on your first family trip. You do have to just go with the flow some times and remember so much extra stuff - the parcel tape was a bit much though! 😂

Barnstormer wouldn’t have been worth the hassle in the end in my opinion - it’s so quick and hard on the back.

Autographs are awkward - my daughter managed to hand her Sharpie pen to Mickey the wrong way round and got pen on his white hand 😬 We got away quickly and hoped he hadn’t noticed it till we’d disappeared!

Haha that parcel tape... honestly, still makes me chuckle now! Although at the time I was so scared they weren't going to let us in the park!

That's brilliant, a lasting memory for Mickey to remember you by!

Fantastic first day... despite nearly not getting into the MK due to your plan to kidnap Mickey! Honestly though, I don't know why the bag checkers made such a fuss - it would have been so easy just to take the tape off you at the start and accept your innocent explanation

You managed to fit so much into your day, very impressive with a toddler. It seems Charlie really enjoyed the rides he was able to go on. What a grumpy CM at the Barnstormer ride though... it's a shame you wasted so much time attempting to get on.

Lovely meal at Denny's to end the day. I've never had an evening meal at Denny's but it seems the choices are good. Breakfast on the other hand, every trip several times! We'll have to give dinner at Denny's a go I think.

Oh that whole tape episode... what an unnecessary stress! I was genuinely worried I was going to get into trouble! I will never forget to check the pushchair basket before entering a park again!

We love Denny's! Breakfast is definitely my favourite but we have had some lovely dinners there, and so reasonably priced too!
