Flight arrival time MCO
More questions! Can either arrive 2:30pm or 5pm into MCO in Aug. Any recommendations for optimum flight arrival time, is there any time when immigration is busier? Or ME busier?

Personally I would just get there as early as I can in order to get to hotel/villa. We have arrived early afternoon and late afternoon/evening and it was just as busy both times.

I would also go for the earlier arrival time as well. We always look for flights that will get us to Florida as early as possible.

The earlier the better in my opinion. We have always chosen the earlier option if available. We had to take the later flight in 2014 and felt very rushed to get to the villa and try and get it stocked up for the morning.

Same answer. Earlier is always better, to optimise your time.

The 2:30 is likely to be better in August to give you the best chance of avoiding the late afternoon thunderstorms, they may not transfer luggage if there is a nasty storm in the area.

If you're new to Florida and hiring a car, then the earlier you arrive the better as driving in daylight is so much easier when looking for roadsigns, hotels, villas etc.

Doesn't bother us - we go for the cheapest flight.
We don't tend to do more if we arrive any earlier so save the cash! |
