Anyone watching the Trump inauguration?
Just wondering if Dibbers were watching it & how you are feeling about it?
Some of what he has said so far has been positive but I'm sat here fearing for Americans and very selfishly our favourite states for holidays ...

Just sounded exactly like his campaign rhetoric. I just wonder how he will deliver on his promises and what will happen when he doesn't.
Stimulating the American economy by borrowing - but it will not just be the US who ends up paying. |

Very interesting speech. Lots of promises. If he carries them out then the American people will gain and hopefully we will as well 're trade.
I like the American jobs for American people Wish our Government would do the same!

It must have been very awkward for Obama to sit there listening to all the ways Trump is going to "make America better" by changing everything he's worked hard to do in the past 8 years...

Watching em all file out now like magic kingdom after the fireworks... if he sticks to what he said up there today it sounds okay to me. He's there now and in charge nothing I can do about it but watch and see what happens.

Very powerful words from an orange! I also can't believe one of the commentators said ' Mike Pence could play the ultimate roll if anything should happen to Trump, assasination or ill health or such like.
 Talk about putting it out there!

I watched it too.
I can see why the Americans liked his campaign promises (jobs, money and safety) but if he can keep them is another thing. |
