Do you like your first name?

Following on from keeping your name incognito or otherwise, do you actually like your first name?

I like mine (Charlotte). When I was younger it wasn’t very popular at all and I didn’t know any other Charlotte’s but I find there are a lot more of us these days!

Yes I like my first name but folks are so quick to shorten it which I don't actually like

I don't mind mine, but don't like any shortened versions of it. It's also quite long which can get annoying!

I remember not liking mine for a while when I was a teen, don't even know why,now I don't mind it.Lots of Linda's on this forum.

I’ve never used my first name but I was named after my mum and my dads twin sister... and my mum wanted me registered the other way but my dad did the registering... my mum won in the end though by not using my first name... am ok with both names... but they do date you... you can often tell a persons approximate age by their name...
