Can you leave a Disney park then come back in later

My friend at work, is due to go back to Florida next July after her trip was cancelled this year. A question she asked me is if they go into the park fhey have booked in the morning and want to leave after a few hours, are they allowed to come back into the same park, later in the day or do they have to stay as they wouldn't be allowed back in.

I told her that you Dibbers would know.

They are staying off site in a villa.

You can. Its a bit like the old days where you got a hand stamp but its all logged on your armband.

Although really unless you are staying in a resort right next to the park, given the travelling time involved in getting too and from a park and the reduced operating hours, i cant see it being a particularly good option-if you get to say Magic Kingdom at 9am, leave to go back to the hotel at noon, get back to the hotel about 1, then decide to go back to the park which currently shuts at 6pm, you are quite literally going to have maybe an hour at the hotel then have to set off again to make it worth going back at all. Is it really worth all the travelling?

I can confirm this still works during the new need for reservations. We did it last week.

DIBB Villa Reviews: 2
We did it a few times last year, having never done it before on all of our trips.
Our villa was close enough so we didn't take much time travelling.
We were in at rope drop, did as much as we could until it got busy (and hot) then went back to the villa for something to eat and a swim, and then back later in the afternoon for more rides and for the fireworks etc.

Is that paying for parking twice then?

No, once you’ve paid for parking it covers you for the rest of the day
