My sister has to hire a scooter at Disney as she has hip issues and uses a stick in the UK but getting around the parks is just not easy enough for her to go without. Its really easy to get around in general and there are no issues with rides etc. She takes her stick for those rides where she has to walk from the scooter through any sort of queue system as these can be fairly long. Definitely ensure you book assistance at the airports as this is probably the hardest bit you will face. Some of the walks around to just get to and from gates are horrendous and queuing can be bad.
