esta api info

on with doing mine and the wife esta

I read that it is best not to fill out the api advanced passenger information

but when I come to part that asks enter travel information it asks for us point of contact information and underneath the address whilst in the U.S. I take it this is the API)

if I try and leave these blank I cannot proceed to the next page

what am I doing wrong

I think people are referencing the API on your flight booking, not the ESTA.

Yes, you have to complete USA address. We always put Disney world with PC.

Think I've mentioned this about a dozen times recently.

Yes to confirm that ESTA information is totally different to API. No issues at all in completing USA accommodation address details in your ESTA - although dozens of Dibbers successfully put unknown. Sorry but I don't know why it won't allow you to proceed - have you tried actually entering "UNKNOWN" and loads of 0000000000000 for the phone number? We've been to the same villa a dozen times over the last 5 ESTAs so we know the address by heart so it accepts it easily.

API is nothing to do with ESTA. It's on manage your booking on your flight web page and asks for passport numbers and first night address in USA. With VA you can only do it 24 hours out, with BA you can any time after you book. It's submitting your API under the current circumstances that might be better left.

When I renewed mines it was done in less than an hour, but it can take up to 72 hours
