Should we like more?

I usually give most people a like or some acknowledgement when they post on my threads (the DOGs usually get a cry because that's how they make me feel), but sometimes I spend ages trying to give people advice/help on an issue and absolutely no like or acknowledgement is given by them.

My mum often says we don't do things to get praise, but a split second to give a like or some other acknowledgement is easy to do and means a great deal to dibbers like me who need to be frequently comforted with likes or pixie dust.

So am I wrong to expect more likes or crys or anything else from dibbers, or should I just be grateful when I get a like, cry or anything else instead of expecting them all the time?

Please be honest in your replies because I want to be a better person so people giving me a like that I don't deserve will make me believe I am a good person when in fact I'm not.

I’m going to give an honest reply. I agree. I think if you give advice it’s nice to give some sort of acknowledgment. I try to give everyone a like if the reply to anything I ask. But I don’t get too worked up over it and actually today I’m feeling a bit over sensitive.

Although my thread might appear light hearted I do feel a like or some other acknowledgement that takes a second to press a button is appreciated. I am currently going through the male menopause that some people/DOGs on here mock but sometimes that makes me feel very sensitive/emotional.
