So glad you are now sorted. 👍🏻
Fortunately, in the 20+ years of me booking everything independently, this has been the first hic up, and I'm lucky that there was another that fits our requirements on the same community.

I could have easily found another if needed to, but as we are a large group, we want to stay on the same community, and its one of my favourites too.

8 weeks to go, and peak season, and want it on the same community due to the other villa being there.

After a LOT of stress, and a very lucky break whereby another owner has just had a cancellation for August, I've managed to secure another one. It of course has ended up costing more money though.

If I knew the other one was selling, I would never have booked it.

Back to the countdown now 😖
Crikey that must have been super stressful. Phew, thank goodness it's l sorted.

Oh the down side come 11am. I didn't manage to get space220 lounge 😭. Boathouse had no normal times for 60+7. (Think that has something to do with boathouse not releasing all times till 60 days only, or at least it looks that way when looking at open table availability against disneys).
Had to split some meals as 9 people at some meals and had to do it as table of 4 and 5. So hopefully they can be near to each other 🤞
All in all it went OK ish. 👍
We were a party of 9 last year and had lots of ADRs for 4 and 5 of us. I asked at the podium check in if we could be seated together and the vast majority this was fine. I didn't bother asking at Space 220 lounge as that seats just 4 to a table, we had tables for 4, 3 and 2, or at Sci Fi Dine in as we wanted to be in a car so knew it was pairs and max of 6 per car. Otherwise they were very accommodating and pushed tables together and combined the reservations the only restaurant they couldn't was the new Toy Story BBQ place in HS but we were next to each other.

Also, don't forget if they do combine the tables they will automatically add an 18% tip as your group has 6+ people.

Same happened to us but 12 weeks out, no explanation from Airbnb just an email followed by a refund

Glad you've found something else, fingers crossed that it all goes smoothly from now 🤞

It's a real heart drop moment isn't it.
Fortunately I managed to book the one I originally wanted for us, so it worked out well and still have 2 villas on Lake Berkley.

I hope you managed to get what you wanted too x

By the look of your countdown, I'm guessing you are on the BA flight, as that leaves 30 minutes after us 😊

Anyone booking Savi’s? Is it available 60+10 or 60 days before the actual day?

Has anyone worked on itineraries? I've been trying to but feel like I have so much still to plan, I need to get my head around Genie+/LL/VQ. Does anyone have any good resources I can read.

I also need to study the maps and most popular rides to see if I can try to work out which areas/rides we should target on each day.

Here's my first go at an itinerary (I did post it in the itinerary area, but it doesn't seem to get much traffic...)

I'd love any feedback, and/or to see what everyone else is planning.

Day One
Fly LGW - TPA, arrive 19.00, collect car and drive to Pop, unpack, quick food

Day Two
Magic Kingdom (Rope drop and likely bow out early from jet lag)

Day Three
Discovery Cove

Day Four
Animal Kingdom (rope drop)

Day Five
Hollywood Studios (later start and try to watch Fantasmic)

Day Six
Typhoon Lagoon (later start)
Dinner at TRex 7pm

Day Seven
Epcot
Luminous Fireworks

Day Eight
Magic Kingdom (later start then stay for fireworks)
Ohana 10.35

Day Nine
Muscle car show - Old town (starts 3pm then parade 8.30pm)

Day Ten
Hollywood Studios (rope drop)
1.10 SciFi Diner (might cancel)
Fantasmic again?

Day Eleven
Animal Kingdom

Day Twelve
Airboat Ride - Spirit of the Swamp 11am? - confirm

Day Twelve
Epcot

Day Thirteen
Typhoon Lagoon/favourite park

Day Fourteen
Check out of Pop

Either spend day at favourite park/ride favourites/or head straight to Clearwater for the day
Check in to Clearwater hotel

Day Fifteen - Nineteen
Sea Screamer
Anna Maria Island (maybe, depending if we'd prefer to just hang around in Clearwater), tubing/kayaking (need to research), watch sunset - pier 60

Day Twenty
Pack, check out, fly home 7pm

I actually prefer the villa we have now - hopefully nothing changes!
