Coronado Springs - wow

Just like to say how blown away we are by this resort. I requested Casitas with a high floor - exactly what we got. The rooms are amazing with some lovely new touches, makeup mirror for us girlies, great idea to have large bottles of toiletries on the wall in the shower, double shower head, keurig coffee/tea maker, lots of sockets, tiny reading light, etc I could go on.

This morning I requested extra tea/coffee and in the time we had breakfast it had been delivered. (We opted out of housekeeping).

All fantastic - any questions just ask.

Thanks for the update, we fly out in 2 weeks so good to have a current review. The dining plan swayed us towards the CSR, that and availability for our dates, although I think we would have preferred the budget resorts for their ott decor which imo makes it more of a fun type of stay.

I'm not sure whether to request a room or just let them allocate a random one, would you say it was better to ask for a certain area? Thanks again.

My fav WDW hotel, glad your enjoying it there. We are at AKL in September which is DH's choice this time. We will pop over the CSR and check out the new Tower.

Just wondering how long it takes to walk from your room to the main lobby and can I ask what the bus route around the resort is please, which area picks up first.

We are there in Dec and can't wait We have a kingbed room so does anyone know if they are in a particular area of the resort ?

Have a good time.

We're hoping to get the cabanas near the big pool. Not sure if it'll be a little quieter there. We've booked a water view but apparently that doesn't necessarily mean lake view. I might try a more specific request closer to the date

Have a good time.
The bus starts in Casitas and works around the resort in a loop towards the lobby. I would request Casitas for this alone (although Casitas 1-3 are preferred, only 4-5 are standard) but it also has the benefit of being close to the lobby.

The check-in lobby is moving into the new tower but the restaurants are staying in the current main building. There is a new TS restaurant going into the tower but it's on the top floor and claims it'll have a view of all four parks - I'm expecting it to be Signature because of this.
