Is that wrong of them? No they are a business.

I feel the same, after 15 years of annual visits, we didn’t go this year. The parks are just huge money machines, with things like Star Wars and avatar shoe horned in just to make more money. Even things like getting rid of all the trees in the hub at MK and doubling the size of the footpath...turning from quaint fairytale to concrete car park. It has lost the magic.
Sadly, it will continue though as the parks are busier than ever, so prices will only continue to increase.

exactly, what is Disney without the magic! You may as well just go to any popular theme park which the USA has plenty of. The reason I why wanted to go was based on all those films from my childhood & from what my kids have experienced , its why multi-generational USA families are still sitting in Country Bear Jamboree & enjoying it(), why certain Dibbers have been 15 times & counting, why the imagineers get out of the bed in the morning & surely despite all the profiteering why Disney corp. are hoping/expecting future generations to keep on spending the $$$$. But would agree its all a bit peeing in the wind expecting anything different as if 1 demographic of people don't go there's a whole new set to take their place.

Disney has always been about making money... ALWAYS... Walt didn't setup a charity...

Stood watching Happily Ever After with my little four year old with a massive beam on her face with tears in my eyes The magic is still there for me

I’ve been saying for a while that every time we’ve been Disney in the last few years, I’ve come away feeling like I’ve been mugged.

I don't go to Disney so can't comment but I couldn't disagree with you more about Universal. Not sure where you got your FF passes for HHN but we paid nowhere near that price and I loved Academy of villains.

The days of thinking of the customers first and foremost are long gone when it comes to business. It's all about the ££$$££$$.

We’ve just booked our 15th trip for 2020. Yes the prices have gone up, I think the weak pound has got a lot to do with it. I think the car park charges are too much and now people pay parking when staying onsite too (not something we do). As for shopping, we tend to stick to the outlets. We want to eat at ‘Be Our Guest’ but apart from snacks other times will be on the I-Drive.
I can’t wait to be back to see Galaxy’s Edge and all the other plans they have look amazing too. All of course have cost or will cost a vast amount of money - the 14 day ticket split up into a daily rate is still worth it for us
Value for Money and memories that you can’t put a price on
