I honestly don’t think they can say this without some inside knowledge .
Would be too risky for a company already on shaky ground

Whats the benefit of boarding in small groups when you're going to be sat in a metal tube with the other 360 people boarding inhaling re-circulated air for 9 hours?

The whole thing just seems like nonsense.
I cant imagine they know any more than any other airline.
Maybe it will happen, maybe it wont.

Possibly more if you have to wear them from the time you arrive in the airport at the start to leaving the airport at the other end. Could easily be 16 hours.

Gah! I really want my flight to be cancelled, and this doesn’t look promising...

"A temporary new look food and drink service

We’ve changed some of our food and drink onboard to make sure we can keep interaction to a lighter touch."

I imagine there's no alcohol going to be served.

I asked Virgin today on Twitter what's happening with LGW flights as we're due to go on 24th September and I've had about 7 different pieces of information by this point. Their response, twenty minutes before this announcement was We are still unsure what the future of our flying programme looks like. We are currently working on this, and as soon as it is finalised, we will contact affected passengers and update it on the website.

Genuinely feels like they have no clue and are just clutching at straws at this point. We've already decided not to go, but I don't want to let them keep my deposit if I can help it.
