Virgin Refunds Update

Hi

has anyone received a refund from Virgin for their flights since the flights were cancelled? I was told it would take 60-90 days when I cancelled on the 5th April. Some people were told 30days in March, later it changed to 120 days.

Nah no refund from cancellation at the end of March.

We raised a Post Office CC section 75 claim and they appear to have credited our credit card with the balance but think virgin have a number of days to dispute it.

I�ve asked a few questions on WhatsApp and they have come back quite quickly. Have offered �50 per person to rebook for next year or to change to an open ticket.

Do a charge back we had VA flights booked through netflights. 25th April flights, charge back on 29th April and have had a refund.

We have also a charge back with VH for a hotel booking but no refund yet for that,

I have been told it will take up to 90 days to get a refund, not happy at all as they were quick to take our money

I have started a claim through my credit card company- virgin just stalling & not refunding anyone

We had our cancelled from MCO on 25 March and although miles credited still waiting refunds.

There are some reports on Flyertalk of people getting refunds from Early March.
